Rachel McAdams is a terminally pretty and wildly successful Canadian actress, who divides her time between Toronto and Los Angeles and her career between blockbusters and smaller films. McAdams has turned down many major movies, telling The Times, "I never really wanted to be a big movie star. I never even wanted to work outside of Canada, or outside of the theatre." She has been active in environmental causes, and volunteered in Mississippi and Louisiana during the clean-up following Hurricane Katrina.
